Wiinja is the first modchip for the Wii. It is actually a DVD-Rom hack, which means that it cannot be traced through dashboard updates or any other software checks. The cost of the modchip is 40$, but the actuall value of the technology is 5$... The only thing that stops pirates-developers to counterfeit the chip is the program. If it is extracted from the chip, it will be massivellyu product with the cost of 15 or 20$ Good news for our pocket...
Also, the market haw been filled with modchips for Wii, some of them even upgradable!
