An issue that appeared even from the very first days of the Internet is the VERY long URLs. But God in His infinite wisdom gave to the man the ability to create small URL's out of large ones. E.g. http://www.balugabutt.com/xoops/modules/wfsection/index.php is now http://tinyurl.com/z9bot
Much better huh?
That technique has saved many ink of the PC magazines and many less typo's from the desperate users.

OMG. You can't image what you've just reminded of: it must have been like 7-8 years ago that I first heard of tinyURL. I can picture it like a very distant event in my head.
